While calibrating the probe, I got the probe connector disconnected from the coupling connection to the z-axis system and the software cannot detect the calibrator probe. Before this issue happened, I was printing the conductive ink and the probe went deeper to the point that the tip scratch the substrate. I decided to recalibrate the probe, but then the problem occurred (probe connector disconnected). Here is the visual of the probe connector.

I tried to solve the problem by supporting the connector mounting with foam tapes and ensuring that the probe has been connected. The software was finally able to detect the calibrator probe, but I got an error code from the software as below. Sometimes I get the similar error code if the XY positioner have some ink debris, this time I have rechecked and cleaned both of the XY positioner and the Z-switch, but the error code still shows up.

The probe connector then comes completely off from the z-axis system (I do not how do I call it, is it the P-top/tool switch?). As far as I see it, the connector should be connected with the copper at the top side. I realized that one of the connector tips has become wobbly, is that why I keep receiving the same error code and the P-top is not getting triggered? What should I do to solve this problem? Is there any spare part that I have to buy? Thank you.

Oh that’s not good at all! It looks like the connector has actually snapped straight off the board, pulling the copper pads off with it. Hopefully @jazozaya @MikeL or @mewertow can help you with this.

LOL! It just fell right off huh? What did they do, make the PCB’s for this thing with another one of there machines? I am so frustrated with this machine. I can’t make anything usable with it. Just trying to get a pad that I can solder some pins to, or getting an IC to stay on the board after reflowing, I am 0 for 10 on this thing…
