Hi all,

I’m having a recent issue where I have to adjust the nozzle height higher to get ink flowing correctly.

Historically I’ve been printing at 0.08 or 0.07 (fine prints) with no issues - but recently I’ve found that unless I increase the print height to 0.11+ I don’t get any ink/solder paste delivered. I’ve swapped nozzles with no change.

Additionally, I also seem to get print height variance issues where the dispensing will work well on one side of the board, but will dispense poorly on the opposite site - to print well on the opposite side I have to raise the print height.

This seems to only be occurring since the 2.7 update so not sure if there is a firmware issue or if this is only happening on my end.

For completeness:
Running 2.7 software
0.225 Nozzle
SilentCentaur Ink
Checked and ensured Z-height calibration pad is clean
Probing passes with no errors

Any suggestions appreciated.

Did you resolve this issue? I think I’m seeing a similar thing. One side of the board seems fine, the other side it’s almost as if the nozzle is scraping against the board.
