Using Voltera with Thermal Clad Material

Hi,

My company ordered a Voltera and I'm already thinking about the endless possibilities it may offer.

Has anyone tried aluminium based substrates? I think ofa power LED board. I found some base material I.e. by berquist which is aluminium with a dielectric and a copper layer. I'm not sure if one could order only the base material without the copper layer and use it as a substrate for creating aluminium PCBs with Voltera.

Hey @Knochi, interesting idea! We've tried printing on other substrates (silicon wafer, glass, kapton) but we haven't tried aluminum substrates yet. If you do get a chance to try it out, I would definitely like to hear about your experience!
