Has anyone attempted to modify the nozzles in any way to strengthen them? An earlier post said
I googled superclamping and that went to snowmobiles … so … I don’t know what that means.
I am seeing nozzles get bent by simply softly wiping them. We can always be more careful, but with multiple people using the machine (students), and new students coming every year, this problem will keep going on. I LOVE the Voltera - so much better than milling machines we have used in the past. Great for paste - just wonderful. But these nozzle tips are driving me nuts!
What can we do to strengthen this tip? Has anyone tried heat shrink? Solder? (that seems like not the best idea. Heck - Duct Tape? Dipping it in hot glue? 3D printing a microhousing? Creating a tiny robot that lives on the edge and comes out every hour like a cuckoo clock and straightens it? I need help with these nozzles.
