Welcome to the forums! Yes! - there is a way to do ‘micro’ movement. We have 2 modes of alignment:
When the nozzle is in a raised position, you can perform a coarse alignment. Using the arrow keys you can move the nozzle around in 1.0 mm increments.
When you are satisfied with the general position you can hit LOWER to bring the nozzle closer to the board. In this lowered state, you can perform a fine alignment and use the arrow keys again to move the nozzle around in 0.1 mm increments. When centered, click MEASURE to record the position.
When finding the center of the pad, I like to focus on one axis at a time. Instead of looking at the pad diagonally and moving in both X&Y. I position my head so i’m looking at the front of the machine and adjust X first, then I look at the pad from the side and adjust in Y.
I find using my cellphone light to get a better view makes things much easier.
