Is it possible to factory reset the V-One

High-level goal
I’m trying to factory reset the V-One to resolve an issue

Steps taken
First I checked online / in the manual
Then I checked the Voltera application on my computer
Then I checked if the console knew anything

Where did things go wrong?
When I found nothing

Have you contacted Voltera Support, what did they say?
I have contacted them about the issue I am having that is making me want to factory reset in the first place, but I have not received a response.

Why don’t you tell us about the issue?

I don’t think there is much to ‘factory reset’ on the v-one…

Anyone can correct me if I’m wrong but it looks like the pc software has all the parameters to control the v-one. So a software ‘default parameters’ is the closest you can get to a factory reset.

I did not share the issue, because I wanted to know if it was possible to factory reset the V-One in general in case a different problem arose in the future. I had already contacted support, so I was likely to receive a fix for my issue.

The issue I was having was calibration: The I2 C2 command would not work, nor would the “standard calibration”.
The support team sent me a command to reset the calibration to the default settings.

What I wanted to achieve with factory resetting was that, retrieving those default settings.
For anyone that is interested, this was the command they gave me:

M505 X3.618292 Y6.891823 I33.218292 J4.391823 K-3.969375; i2

Marten, you are correct. There is no factory reset on the V-One as most of the settings are handled with the desktop software.

The command I provided was to re-center the printer. It is not a default or factory setting. This command should only be used in rare circumstances.

I recommend checking with the support team ( support@voltera.io ) before running the command to make sure it’s appropriate if you’re experiencing an error with the V-One.
