Getting started Kit - add a few drill bits

I would like to recommend an addition to your already excellent getting started kit and that is to include a few drill bit's for via's. It would just add another nice additional touch.

Hey @a2retro - Thanks for the tip.

It might be a bit late to include it in our current batch of units, it would have to wait until our next production run.

With that said, we are hoping to to expand our web-store over the next coming weeks - this would certainly be a good addition.

What size(s) do you think should be included?

I am not sure yet as I ordered a bunch of different sizes recently but they haven't arrived.

I dont think you'd want to go below 0.5mm, probably not smaller than 0.75mm as part of a standard kit. If its too small and easy to break and/or damage yourself with it's just going to annoy people. Drills with a 3mm or 1/8" shank so they can go into a dremel/rotary tool without a specialised shank would be good. As much as I hate to suggest it, HSS over Carbide is probably better too, as the HSS are less likely to snap if someone pushes too hard/drops it. The HSS wont last as long wear wise, but might last longer use wise.
