Computer does not detect Voltera. It stuck on `Scanning for Printers`

High-level goal
I’m trying to connect the Voltera to the computer but it seems like the Voltera application on my computer does not detect the computer since it is stuck on scanning for printers.

Steps taken
I downloaded the latest desktop application from the website. I am using a windows 10 64-bit machine. I also downloaded the FTDI drivers. But still it does not recognize the Voltera.

I viewed the Devices and Printers on my computer and I noticed that the Voltera V-One is listed in the Unspecified section. I attached a screenshot.

I also tried changing my USB cord but the results were still the same. Please help.

Have a look in device manager to see if the printer is in there or any unknown devices ?

I had the same issue on my Win10 machine, but I resolved it by going to:

Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > View Optional Updates > Driver updates

Then scrolling through the list until I found FTDI - Ports, which I selected [Download and install], then had to reboot.

My printer was detected by the V-One software and I’m currently printing the Hello World

One other symptom before I did the above was that the V-One showed up with a driver warning under Device Manager (legacy Windows control panel applet), but attempting to update the driver from there was not helpful.
