Clean Needles after printing

Hi there.

We are using the voltera machine in our laboratory. The problem that we are having is that all the needles are broken after printi a circuit. We use acetone and just after the printing of the circuit, we introduce the nozzles in the solution. However, when I plug ir again the conductive ink doesn’t come out thru it.

How can we properly clean the tips because we are feeling very dissapointed with this system and all the nozzles are being broken.

Hi Gabriel,
I have similar problems- lot of broken needles. Some of them where ripped off by the printer.
To clean them after usage, I put them on a syringe filled with denatured alcohol and press the alcohol out through the nozzle. After that I put it back in its container which is also filled with alcohol.

I found a better way cleaning the nozzles: I’m using a ultarsonic cleaner now.
~ 20min ultrasound cleaning in Actetone. After that they are like new.
