Circuit extends beyond printable area

Granted, yes it is… But it does do the calibration and alignment perfectly fine but then gets stuck at this step…Even though this isn’t a standard thing to do, as it is calibrated fine is it possible to just continue printing paste anyway ?

The alignment tool really needs a cam on it to view the pads with “zoom” in the software… Also being able to control the alignment with the arrow keys would have things easier as well.

So oddly while the IC to paste was inside the area, it wouldn’t have it… but moving the pcb backwards as much as possible it seems happier… odd…

So I moved the board to the right more and its happy again… I think there needs to be a feature just to auto-crop the “outside areas”…

but now I have done that, it thinks the PCB is vertical ?!

Restarted the program, loaded in the gerber file again… just comes up exactly the same, like its remembering previous settings or something… so how do I reset this this ??

@Chris Clever use of the PCB itself without the clamp bars. Like it.
Did you and up resolving the out of bounds issue. I may have a similar application.

I’ve not solved the issue no… I think the area the software thinks is printable is a fraction smaller than the physical area

With PCBs I’ve done so far, I just use a small spacer to push it away from the edge of the printer …

Even with the clamps and thumbscrews, the header travels above them anyway… so it should really just warn the user that there could be a problem and let the user decide what is “safe” or not to do…

If the clamps were not used at all… it should allow to use the full area… or close as possible… the actual head looks to get about a few mm across the thumbscrews dia, so even just 5mm more area would be an advantage on PCBs which only just fit the bed.
