I’m trying my first Hello World print on the V-One and ran into a problem.
When I click Outline, the print head moves to the z-switch switch, lowers the probe and depresses the switch, but then just sits there and shows the error below on my screen. There is also a continuous high pitch whine that began as soon the motors moved for the first time and didn’t stop until I pressed Alt+R to release the motors – not sure if that is normal.
I cleaned the two switches using a Q-tip and 99% isopropyl alcohol before running the machine.
I do notice the probe tip is not quite centered in the z-limit switch.
Here’s the error text:
Uh Oh! Something went wrong!
Unable to move to z-switch (z-min), switch did not trigger
Unable to measure at z-switch (z-min), switch did not trigger during initial approach
Unable to complete movement, tool switch (p-top) triggered at Z=-11.649375
Please contact support@voltera.io to resolve the problem.
Any suggestions?
