BGA on Voltera-one

I have a question regarding mounting BGA’s on the Voltera. Is it possible? (Read an old post from ´17 on the community which did not give a conclusive answer).

As I see it, there are possibly two approaches (or a combination of the two):

1. Prefabricated from a pcb fabricator with the conductive copper/ink traces -> solder paste done on the v-one -> assembly of components prior reflow
2. Using Voltera’s fine resolution consumables 100 micron nozzle and suitable ink and solder paste, doing all on the V-one.

Does anyone have experience on this post 2017?

I attempted to do a simple BGA using a Microchip ATTINY44A-CCU which has a 15UFBGA footprint (0.65mm spacing between ball contacts which were 0.15mm diameter), but as you can see from the photo below, the resolution was not there to clear the traces from the four center ball contacts.

Couple of specifics for my application:

• I was using a plastic nozzle, which doesn’t have the finest pitch (a smaller metal nozzle might work better?)
• the V-One is only spec’ed for 0.2mm traces and 0.65mm min pin-to-pin pitch
