I think i understand what you are seeing. I think you’ve either:
- added the template fiducials to your design by hand
or
- you’ve used the template files we provide (gerbers, dimension drawings)
… and they don’t match the board dimensions (if it’s the latter, please let me know). So when you align your circuit ends up tilted slightly to the right, resulting in some of it falling outside the printable area. The app does not offer a warning when this happens, so you’ll likely end up hitting a limit switch during the probing step (sounds like the x switch on the right side in your case).
It sounds like you are on track to workaround the issue by determining the proper placement of the fiducials, updating your design then proceeding.
