150 micron nozzles - Tips and Tricks

So in my obsession to push the V-One to 0.5mm pitch, I broke down and bought a pack of the specialty nozzles. Whilst I wait for delivery, the question is how do I need to adjust my workflow? Presumably I'll get different results using the narrow nozzles from the same Gerber, and perhaps not always in a good way.

Is there a different CAM file for the narrow nozzles? Some other settings that need to be tweaked to accommodate the physical differences?

Hey @DavidYon47, for best results with fine-pitch printing, I'd suggest the following:

1) Change the Pass Spacing parameter for Conductive ink to 0.15mm, found in the settings window (leftmost column).
2) Change the Print Height to 0.08mm, down to 0.06mm if you're trying really tight spacing.

Other than that, you should be fine to print as normal. Good luck!

Awesome. I presume that the smaller nozzles are for the ink only?

That's right, the particle size of our solder paste is higher than recommended for a 150um nozzle.

Are the 150um nozzles in stock? Placed my web order on Sunday and haven't seen a shipping notification.
