That's quite an interesting application. I'm excited to see what you can make with the V-One!
We did have some success with fixed-height dispensing, however when we took it out of the R&D lab and into practice we found that there were certain issues with the method which we weren't able address at the time. The linked blog post is the most in-depth information we have available on the approach, but I can clarify questions you may have. Unfortunately, the fixed-height deposition approach isn't available through the software - you may have heard that we went through a comprehensive re-write of the V-One software a few months ago, and insulator multi-layer was not included in the re-write. There is a fair amount of work that would need to go into integrating the old multi-layer algorithms into the new application. On the materials side, we have since stopped producing the insulator material. There are other dielectric thermoset fluids out there, but without testing then internally I can't recommend any.
