Filling out customs forms?

Did anyone else that purchased the V-One outside of Canada have to fill out the Customs forms? I would have expected Voltera to do this. How an I supposed to know if the ink meets some regulation and what its made of.

Hey Roy,

From what I know the import regulations can differ pretty significantly from country to country. @MikeL from our team would know more about the topic, but I believe we have forms we fill out on our end to ensure the product can pass customs properly.

New Zealand customs didn't ask me anything like that.

The customs officer was "difficult" though, even though Fedex were acting as the customs agents. While not all customs officers are difficult, I expect the difficult ones are universal. Maybe you just got one of them?

Also from New Zealand (small world!) and I didn’t have any issues at all. Just paid the clearance charges and it came straight through. Voltera would have had to fill in some Customs forms for exportation from Canada I’d imagine but there will also be a Customs process around importation in each country. And as Matt says, that will vary a lot. Just try sending an apple to NZ and you’ll see what I mean
