I have a borrowed V-One which did not come with a burnishing pad. Does anyone perhaps @TSS_Bill have a DIY suggestion?
Absolutely. Our burnish pads are made of melamine foam. If you need a quick alternative, you can typically pop by a grocery store and find a replacement. Magic Erasers are made from very similar materials.
After I wore out the burnishing pad that came with the Vone, I started using 3M scouring pads. But be gentle, they are much more aggressive than the Voltera supplied item.
